RECENT STATEWIDE ARTICLES ON M.H.S. and/or MONTICELLO:

THE TRAGEDY OF THE 'KIDNAPPED BRIDE.' For the first time in more than a year, the woman known to the world as "the kidnapped bride" on Wednesday faced her father, a man she hasn't really talked to since she was dragged to Colorado last year against her will so that she would miss her wedding to a man her parents didn't like: http://deseretnews.com/article/1%2C5143%2C695231617%2C00.html

CANCER VICTIMS WIN SMALL VICTORY. After years of trying to prove a link between cancer cases and the town's former uranium-processing mill, Monticello residents scored a small victory this week. The Utah Department of Health has agreed to look at additional cancer cases not listed in the Utah Cancer Registry: http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/1%2C1249%2C640200160%2C00.html

Burton has addresses and e-mail addresses (as current as 2003) for many classmates. If you're a classmate, e-mail Burton and tell him the information you want. Also, to keep addresses restricted to classmates, include in your request what Burton's ride was or rides were in High School. Or, alternately, tell him the nickname of Rhett's two-door nearly-classic car. If that's too much to remember, you'd better hope he remembers you and/or recognizes your name!! We'll see you in 2008!

If you're a classmate, and your address or e-mail address has changed, e-mail Burton (burton@mhsclassof1983.org) your old and NEW mail and/or e-mail addresses, and he'll update Class records accordingly.
